Community (light admin tools)

Carbon with only admin and chat plugins, so gameplay stays vanilla while you can moderate properly. Good for a server with its own community and Discord.

Set up

Install the recommended plugins from the Plugins tab. None of them change gameplay, which is what keeps a server in the Community spirit.

Give your admins rights in the console with c.grant group admin <permission> (o.grant on uMod). Each plugin lists its permissions on its uMod page.

Check Facepunch's server rules for what's allowed while listed as Community; adding gameplay plugins later means moving to Modded.

Run it

  • Link your Discord in the description and use it for reports and wipe announcements.
  • Biweekly wipes keep the map fresh without losing casual players mid-progress.
  • Take a backup before each wipe.

Recommended plugins

Open your server in the control panel and go to Plugins. If you picked this style at checkout, "Install all" adds these in one go; otherwise search uMod for each.

  • VanishWatch suspected cheaters unseen.
  • Admin RadarSee players, stashes and loot to investigate reports.
  • Better ChatChat titles and colors for admins and groups.
  • Player AdministrationKick, ban and mute from an in-game menu.
