PvE

Player-versus-environment: players can't damage each other or their bases, so the challenge is the world itself. Wipes are rare and builds get big.

Set up

Install the recommended plugins from the Plugins tab. TruePVE does the heavy lifting: its default rules block players hurting each other and each other's bases.

Big builds stay up all month, so a 4000 map and the extra disk headroom of a larger plan help. If players complain about upkeep, lower decay with decay.scale (0.5 halves it).

Want an optional PvP area? Draw a zone with Zone Manager and allow damage inside it in TruePVE's config.

Run it

  • PvE players hate surprise wipes. Wipe only on forced wipes and announce it a week ahead.
  • Entity counts grow all month; restart daily and keep an eye on RAM in the last week.

Recommended plugins

Open your server in the control panel and go to Plugins. If you picked this style at checkout, "Install all" adds these in one go; otherwise search uMod for each.
