Terms of Service

1. Your account

• You need to be at least 13 to create an account, and an adult (or have a parent or guardian's permission) to pay for a plan.
• Keep your sign-in details safe and your email address current. You're responsible for what happens under your account and on your servers, including anyone you give access to.
• One person or organization per account. Accounts can't be shared or transferred without asking us.

2. Servers and plans

• Each plan comes with the memory, CPU, storage and features shown when you order. Shared plans run alongside other customers' servers on the same machine; dedicated plans get a machine of their own.
• We may change plans and prices for new orders. Changes to an existing plan's price take effect at its next renewal, and we'll email you first.
• Free trials are one per customer per game, and end automatically when their days are up.

3. Payment and renewal

• Plans are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly through Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel. Introductory discounts and codes apply as described when you order.
• Prices are shown in US dollars. You're responsible for any taxes your location charges.
• If a payment fails, we'll retry and email you. A server whose payment stays overdue is suspended, and is deleted 7 days after its service ends.
• Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use our services to:

• break the law, or host or share content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or exploits minors;
• attack, scan or flood other networks or servers, including DDoS, or run open proxies or VPNs for others;
• mine cryptocurrency or run workloads that aren't game servers or their tools;
• send spam, phish, or spread malware;
• interfere with other customers' servers or try to get around plan limits;
• resell our servers without our written permission.

You also agree to follow each game's own server rules, such as the Minecraft EULA and the publishers' terms for Rust, Palworld and Project Zomboid. We may suspend a server right away to stop harm to our network or other customers, and will tell you why.

5. Your files and backups

• Your worlds, saves, configs, mods and uploads remain yours. You give us only the permission we need to store, run and back them up for you.
• Backups are included as described in your plan, but you're responsible for keeping your own copies of anything important. Download a backup before cancelling.
• Files are deleted 7 days after a server's service ends and can't be recovered after that.
• Mods and plugins you install are your responsibility, including their licenses.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep servers online, but don't promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, updates from the game's developer and problems outside our control can cause downtime. We may update the software, hardware and locations behind the service, and will give notice of changes that affect you.

7. Third parties

Mpire Hosting is not affiliated with or endorsed by Mojang or Microsoft, Facepunch Studios, Pocketpair or The Indie Stone. Game names and logos belong to their owners. Payments are processed by Stripe, and their terms apply to your payment details.

8. Ending service

You can cancel any time from your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or leaves payments unpaid. Where it's fair to, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to fix it.

9. Liability

The services are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Mpire Hosting isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost progress, data, revenue or players. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change affects you meaningfully, we'll email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the services after that means you accept the new terms.
